AI company logos look like buttholes. The Zune logo, when flipped, says something different. A Brazilian Institute of Oriental Studies is a stylized pagoda sillhouetted against the setting sun. Not! A history of anatomical logos 😂 velvetshark.com/ai-company-l... velvetshark.com/ai-company-l...

Morten Morland’s Times cartoon: April 11, 2025 - The Times and The Sunday Times
A four-panel political cartoon satirizes Donald Trump. In the first panel, he stands beside a blue-and-white porcelain vase and says, “Now is a good time to buy a dustpan and brush!” In the second panel, he smugly pushes the vase off its pedestal. In the third panel, Trump stands passively as the vase lies smashed, and sycophantic onlookers cheer, shouting phrases like “AMAZING!”, “Correct EVERY TIME!”, “How does he do it?”, and “Genius.” In the final panel, Trump walks away saying, “My friends will clean up…” as his supporters, one in a red MAGA hat, sweep and clean up the broken pieces while others count money.

The cartoon satirizes Trump’s tendency to create crises and then either be praised for predicting them or leave others to clean up the mess.

Just realised I have spent loads of money at Tesco over the years but they have never bought anything from me which means there is a massive trade deficit so I am hitting them with a 50% tariff immediately. That’ll show em. #Trump #Tariffs

The Eraserhead poster stays with you
This is a promotional poster for the film Eraserhead, directed by David Lynch. The image prominently features the protagonist, Henry Spencer (played by Jack Nance), depicted in black and white. His expression is wide-eyed and intense, with his iconic, gravity-defying hairstyle standing out. The background is textured and surreal, contributing to the unsettling and mysterious tone of the film. The title “ERASERHEAD” is displayed in bold, white uppercase letters at the top, and the tagline “A FILM BY DAVID LYNCH” is printed underneath it. Logos for “Janus Films” and other production credits are visible at the bottom. The overall aesthetic reflects the film’s surreal and experimental nature.

You can have a cellular series 10 too, but you only *need* cellular if you want to connect to the internet or make/receive calls if your phone is not close by and you don’t have WiFi available. Most people don’t have a cellular watch just standard gps

And in the article www.notateslaapp.com/news/2412/te... they talk about dynamically routing around road closures based on data from other Teslas. This is fantastic for us in Kent, UK in the winter, where there sometimes appear to be more closures than roads lol!
Screenshot of text: "Tesla says the Christmas update will let the navigation "dynamically route around road closures." So Tesla's navigation will now not only consider routing based on traffic and construction data it receives, but also data gathered by other Tesla vehicles."

Call me old fashioned but dancing in to the studio naked apart from a strategically placed sock is more than inappropriate is outright insane. Why wasn’t Gregg Wallace sacked immediately following this? Image from @thetelegraph.bsky.social report today.
The Telegraph has also spoken to one of the people who is said to have witnessed Wallace's behaviour and understands they have also spoken to the BBC.
It was not the only allegedly lewd conduct detailed in the complaint that the BBC received from the woman.
In her letter to the broadcaster, she also claimed that Wallace had walked into the MasterChef studio "completely naked except for a sock pulled over his penis" before doing a "silly dance' - an incident which, she claims, left staff "hugely unset-tled" and which she looks back on as "incredibly inappropriate

Incredible that Google used something called “The Egg Shop” as the example for live translation on the pixel 9. Unless I have lived a life where I have somehow failed to ever see a single Egg Shop on the high street, and everyone else is just popping in there to pick up half a dozen 🤨
