Deja vu Back to work. Another 12-hour shift. Probably 12 tomorrow, too. The weekend was SUPPOSED to be blissful & peaceful.. But, my car decided to order a damn keg of attention Friday afternoon, & I spent Saturday waiting for it to be fixed. It's fixed, but wasn't cheap -.-

They shoved me into a mandatory over. I swapped with a coworker for her last on-call- & they used everyone anyway. I took a hit & said 🖕🤬🖕 that. Now, I just have 4 hours to work Thursday night & I bounce out on VAC at lunch, with Friday off bc VAC as well.

Deja vu. No early today. Possible over tonight. Volunteering for early tomorrow to avoid over tonight. If I get the early, that's a save. Combine with ½ day VAC tomorrow at lunch + Friday VAC, I'd be winning. Here's to hope. 🥃 Queue the music:

I sincerely 🤬ing HATE being on-call for over on a Sunday night. It takes an entire weekend & makes into 1 day off with the 2nd being nothing but angst regarding working over on a Sunday night. 🤬-fucking-damn it.

Hawkeye🥃🪶 @invictus75.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Got 🤬ed into "over" for Sunday night. Swapped with a coworker for her 1st on-call in hopes I won't be drafted. [Wanted to swap with the last on-call to pad my odds, but that coworker wasn't co-working with me in such plans :P] I SO 🤬ING HATE WORKING OVER WITH MIDNIGHT SHIFT!

Deja vu. Got early today. So, I get to leave on time. But I'm probably stuck for an "over" on Sunday night unless I can swap with a coworker for an on-call and somehow NOT get dragged in. -.- Dodge one bullet.. Get hit by another bus. Queue the music:

Very carefully avoiding viewing any #FFXIV related posts as I'm highly unlikely to be able to do MSQ before this upcoming Sunday. [We're already scheduled to work Sat.] The only reason I'll be able to even touch BST is bc I preplanned a ½ day VAC so I can leave at lunch today.
