Oh hey would you look at that, news about #Spotify cracking down on #AI! Doubt they'll remove their own AI stuff though...including the non-Spotify AI someone has their fingers in Plus they'll never pay artists fairly, you already don't get paid at all for tracks that underperform.

This really kind of mocks computer game history, if you would've just knocked the "3" out of there you could've said "Quake was one of the first multiplayer first person shooters" and it would've been *slightly* more accurate. Even then, we'd been playing multiplayer Doom, ROTT, etc for years prior.

One of the first sound cards. Not THE first, it's an S-100 sound effects, a stereo AY-3-8910 board for IMSAI/Altair/etc. Mine was owned by the 8910's creator. Maybe more exotic: his portable demonstration unit, probably the first portable chiptune device. It'll go in @bloopmuseum.bsky.social soon.
