#xivwomenweek day 5 - Amid flora and crystals 🌷💠

an illustration of ryne and gaia. In the foreground, the two of them are sitting in the middle of a field of pink flowers, with the crystal tower visible behind a hill covered in flowers, while a close-up of their portraits, eyes closed, fills the background. Ryne's expression and position echo my earlier minfilia entry as well !!

I think her segment would be cut short due to her bluntness, and/or her answers not giving too much detail. A combination of bluntness and shyness, which might not make for the most compelling interview, lol #serenlore

#xivwomenweek day 5- Shadowbringers "Let's drink!" KInd of a "what if" piece where Giott and Lamitt meet. Had a blast with healer quests and Giott's drunken ass xD #ffxiv #ffxivart #FF14

Giott on the left holding a full jug of alcohol and looking very happy, while Lamitt on the right is timidly holding her own jug, looking at Giott.

Lyna standing watch over the fort keep next to the Crystarium, messily painted. Highkey values and low contrast, purples yellows and blues, the Crystal Tower being the main cold point in a sea of warm colors.

I usually don't make posts like this but times are desperate & I'll do anything to help my baby. Plz consider donating to my GoFundMe. Moxxi is sick. My dad passed away last week and financially/emotionally the household is in shambles. I've already took her to the vet & expended all my savings 🔗⬇️

/ last rant but any time my job brags about using a/i, i am going to keep complaining about it. i dont care if i get fired for it. Every opportunity i have, i will keep using my voice and words to assert my role's importance and the importance of having a human brain behind the work. That is all

she's clairvoyant, and the visions arrive to her in dreams in very surreal and uncanny ways that make no sense, deciphering is a whole task on its own. this is partially enhanced by the echo, but she's always had the visions. i've explored her dreams before in my fics

New chapter posted for my longfic, "Sanctuary." Chapter 9: Trial by Combat, rated M. Inspired by the last prompt for the month, Vestige. archiveofourown.org/works/834900... #FFXIVWrite2026 | #wolchefant | #FFXIVWrite

As she walked through the Tribunal's hall, the roar of the crowd reached her ears before she saw them. Hundreds of voices chanted in unison, their shouts echoing off the stone walls. It seemed anyone who could afford to attend, did just that. It was a trial turned spectacle—to see the Warrior of Light fighting the Archbishop's personal guard. Most would lay eyes on the Warrior's prowess for the first time, save for those she had fought beside with at the Steps of Faith.

She hesitated before the exit, realizing she has never battled anyone in front of a crowd before. She and Calla practiced together in the village square sometimes, although there weren't nearly as many spectators as there were outside at this very moment.

One breath. Two breaths. Three. Four. Seren inhaled deeply against her rapidly beating heart, remembering Lord Haurchefant's words and his cheerful disposition right before she went into the barracks:

Should you begin to lose heart, look for me in the stands, and I shall cheer so loud, you will wonder how you could ever have contrived to doubt yourself!

She could still feel the grip of his hand on hers, holding her tight.

Now, are you ready?

She glanced up at the bright archway, a smile breaking across her face. Then she stepped out onto the light.

/ random rant. everyday i am reminded of how badly i need to find a new job. my boss just scored me a 3/5 on "optimism" on my performance packet and i'm like how does that even make sense? we had 3 layoffs this entire year, lost most of my team, and had to foster and pickup their work after them.

This one's a tough one. I do somewhat address it in my longfic and another fic where she lives beyond everyone else. she initially couldn't handle the heartbreak, so she kept her distance from most people. eventually she did come to terms with it, realizing that life is short anyway and her life +

Her main canon job right now is BLM, but she’s only just started to use magic more. Her very first canon job was lancer into dragoon and warrior. I HC that she started as an archer but wasn’t really good at it so she switched her main weapon for an axe/lance

Lol, once, but she doesn't know! Only Aymeric knows, after Estinien (he's the one that saw them) told him, lol! Here, have a snippet! #MegamiWrites #MegamiLore #MegQotD

The two men remained silent for a moment, the only sound the flittering of critters buzzing and chirping about and the faint rustling of the wind.

“Was there aught you wanted to say?” Aymeric asked him after a moment. “Surely you didn’t come out here simply to inform me of your upcoming voyage? Though I must be grateful that, for once, you deign to inform me of where you’re headed before you actually disappear, my errant friend.” Aymeric grinned at him.

Estinien silently studied his friend’s face for a moment before answering. He could not place this feeling of unease in his heart, or the restless dreams that seemed to portend ill tidings. As if they were running out of time.

“You should tell her how you feel,” the dragoon finally said.

Aymeric frowned, looking confused. “I beg your pardon? Tell whom how I feel about what?”

“Don’t play dumb, Aymeric, it ill becomes you. You know exactly whom I speak of. And don’t you dare pretend with me,” Estinien said, glaring at his friend.

“Whatever gave you the idea that I have feelings towards… her?” Aymeric demanded, fiddling with his black glove and avoiding his gaze. Estinien almost rolled his eyes.

“Are we going to play this game, Aymeric? Like I don’t know you well enough by now?” Estinien said. “Fine. Let’s end the charade then. I saw you. I stumbled upon you and Megami having a bit of… how’s your father. In Portia Praetoria, while I was doing my scouting rounds.”

The Lord Commander looked stunned, his face slowly turning bright red and he actually sputtered, unable to form any words. A first on both counts for his Viscount friend. It was actually amusing.

“So don’t tell me you don’t know what I’m talking about,” Estinien continued.

“Does she know? Does she know that you saw… us?” Aymeric demanded after regaining his composure and clearing his throat.

“Don’t be daft. Of course she doesn't know. And I’m not about to tell her!” the dragoon said, offended.

As if AI has been part of our lives forever? AI wasn't a thing even 5 years ago. How do these dipshits think the world worked and got along just fine without it before? If you've lost all form of critical thinking and ability to work for yourself in this short time, that's a YOU problem.
