Dio @interleave.love · 6hThis is instead of using something like Catboost. We can then compare outcomes to what Catboost or LightGBM might have given us. Do note that not all of the data output by Jev is strictly categorical in the first place. A great deal is in fact not. 000
Dio @interleave.love · 6hI use Jev as a tabular conversion model. Essentially converting the natural language responses from learners and models and converting those into quantities suited for tabular prediction. Once completed a few rounds a tabular model can use results to push Jev's judgements toward improved learning. 110

Dio @interleave.love · 30/09/2026I know it's not a revolutionary idea or whatever but I know that prompts actually do still matter a bunch. 000
Dio @interleave.love · 30/09/2026I'm thinking of having an agentsmd that has a markdown file for each model that I am using. Init looks at the other files, looks up best practices for that model and then creates the Md that best suits the model with a ref to agents so a agent knows where to hope to. 100
Dio @interleave.love · 30/09/2026I have accounts to create. I have to walk around and pitch more. I have to apply to everything I can. 000
Dio @interleave.love · 30/09/2026I have laptop and desktop setups and transfer to do still. I have emails to send. I have sales to do. I feel a lot better now though. There's so much potential in finding potential new users that I think should be enjoyable and fun. I have posts to make as well. 100
Dio @interleave.love · 30/09/2026So many adminstrative functions that need to be done and over with. I still need support emails setup. I still need registration done. I still need that grant finished and written. I still need those blog posts writeable end to end. I also still need to do that end to testing too. 100
Dio @interleave.love · 30/09/2026Okay now that I have pretty great documentation pages, redesigned things for how the editor composes. There's possible improvements here as well as usual. But at some point I have to say no this is where it stops for now. And this is the point. I must now focus my energy on all the other things. 100

Dio @interleave.love · 27/09/2026I find it hilarious that there's people that will ask for feedback and then block you and needlessly try to dunk on you when you give it. 000
Dio @interleave.love · 27/09/2026To add to that they are computers you likely don't own in most of the spaces that you are in and weren't designed with you in mind. They are impersonal most of the time in some future where devices are like this everywhere. They don't really work well in direct sunlight either. 110
Dio @interleave.love · 27/09/2026I love the idea of @heliographe.studio light computer. What I don't like is this strange need to dunk on other pretty awesome tech like smart glasses. Especially since you can paint any tech as dystopian and negative. The light computer has the issue of always on listening and seeing computers. 231
Dio @interleave.love · 27/09/2026I would also consider stuff like blocking anyone who disagrees with you when you say something fairly controversial is also in there. Avoidant stuff is pretty common. 100

Dio @interleave.love · 26/09/2026Seems hard to make one. I don't think this exists yet which probably why experts in ML should make some comprehensive one. My guess is it a combination of various things that are more easily measurable combined like style adherence, narrative coherence, shot composition. 100
Dio @interleave.love · 26/09/2026Prima Facie means on first appearance. Measuring stuff does not seem to be nonsense at first appearance. You need to defend that lol. And still doesn't make sense garnering hostility. 000
Dio @interleave.love · 26/09/2026Why so hostile? Seriously I get your passionate but legit didn't think this would cause this much hostility lol 100
Dio @interleave.love · 26/09/2026And before goodhart's law being mentioned, you have a measure already but it's vibes based right now. Good measures are just as much part of research as anything else lol 😆 100
Dio @interleave.love · 26/09/2026Seems like you can do it with style coherence, camera similarity. At the end of the day it's another engineering problem like everything else. If the models get 0-percent constantly and don't improve that's good signal for you. But create some sort of measure privately to see if there is progress. 100
