Lewis can’t really catch a break 🤦‍♂️ that final pit stop literally dropped him from P2 ➡️ P5 the guy AND especially the team need a reset over the summer break

surprised Audi don't seem to have that many sponsors on their car. it just seems empty behind the driver which is odd seeing how many sponsors they have on the screen also, still lukewarm about the livery.

Audi really thought watching people climb the stairs is cool 🤦‍♂️ bring back last year's Alpine DJ

probably my final post of the year: it's about the frustration with having watch lists scattered across different platforms with no easy way to share or migrate this data and a solution as well. have a quick read ⬇️ insidemordecai.com/watch-lists-...

Noise

December has arrived, quietly. It often rains, at times windy. I put almost everything on hold, and the resulting calm is something to cherish.

i would totally recommend any of these albums esp all the Radiohead ones, HYPERYOUTH (alt rap), Preacher's Daughter (alt), The Forever Story (rap), and Songs In A Minor (R&B/Soul)

it's tiiime... for Spotify Wrapped again but with an Apple Music Replay twist this year i stuck with AM after switching but clearly Radiohead were on loop on both platforms the entire year. Durand Bernarr, Melanie Fiona and Gotye (listen to Making Mirrors) also had their moments 1/2

the more I think about Elkann’s comments and Ferrari’s resistance to NEEDED change, the more I feel I’d probably switch teams as soon as LH retires and honestly, Leclerc should start seriously evaluating his options too #F1

i, too, haven't used AntennaPod. just checked their website so i can't exactly compare them but i really really like Pocket Casts. it has a boatload of features while maintaining a nice UI/UX balance. the only thing that sucks (and it's a big one) is that Automattic acquired it awhile back

010

Mordz ✨ @insidemordecai.com · 23/10/2025

seems it has all that one needs without the extra fluff that some podcast apps come with. have you used Pocket Casts before? if you have, how would you compare the two in your personal opinion?

100

Mordz ✨ @insidemordecai.com · 23/10/2025

i've always heard of it but never explored it much. it seems totally usable and a viable alternative for Android users

100

Mordz ✨ @insidemordecai.com · 07/10/2025

that didn't take long 😂 luckily i joined on the cut-off month, now i'm curious how the Pocket Casts team came up with September 2019 as the cut-off

App Store screenshot for Pocket Casts version 7.98 with the description, "We've always believed podcasting should remain open, accessible, and creator-owned. In a world dominated by closed platforms, we're committed to supporting the open RSS ecosystem. To help sustain that mission, this release re-introduces banner ads to support our ongoing work. Banner ads won't be shown to Plus or Patron subscribers or users who created a Pocket Casts account prior to September 2019 - thank you for your support.
This update also brings a smoother start for new users with improved account creation during onboarding with User Stories, Interests, and Recommendations.
We've fixed an issue where the You Might Like tab would reload when returning to it.
Navigation should now feel smoother and more consistent.
The About screen now displays the correct background color across all themes."

sadly their messaging seems like this is only sth for the OG member who made a Lifetime payment long ago so i guess obtrusive banner ads will make a return some day on the free plan

110

Mordz ✨ @insidemordecai.com · 26/09/2025

thank god Pocket Casts saw the light and reverted the banner ads change

110

Mordz ✨ @insidemordecai.com · 22/09/2025

thought this was a one-off but the new banner ad on the @pocketcasts.com' home page and now playing screen totally sucks. honestly has me considering Apple Podcasts again

i'm of the opposite opinion that an inexperienced team needs an experienced lineup. it could be argued that both weren't as strong in their last races but one can make a case for the cars not being to their liking or nowhere for either i guess we will see what pays off for Caddy
