I just have all these ideas cropping up for her and I think I just need to channel them into a comic finally. Like an excorcism and get them out of my system.

I think I might just pull the trigger and do them, and just post them up on Oculama, into three or four chapter chunks. Being able to set a hard deadline helps. And I know at least Pals will read them and maybe folks might wanna do some collab stuff with it.

That being said, I do wanna take a stab at a long form(ish) webcomic project and I've been in a "Pinn brain worms" phase again, to the point where I've written a loose outline for her back story.

I know I keep saying Ill start webcomic projects, and then bouncing to something else, but as I kept working on the autobio/fiction one I realize I dont wanna put some of those stories easily available on the Net. Ithink im just gonna slowly chip away at them and save my pennies for a print run.

Im leaning towards Lucretia or lucrecia for the name of her sire, much older vampire woman that came over from the old world and is now a powerful mob boss, who pinn gets involved due to either attempting to pick pocket her at a night club or attempting to steal her high end luxury sports car.

Rather than what It truly means to be "a hero". Id like her arc to be a humbling one, while she still grasps with the influencer part.

While Embers initial premise is "celebrity/Influencer" super hero. I like the idea of exploring her as a Meangirl in school. The Regina George of Polaris Academy. From a prestigious Super hero family, she is concerned with status and looking the part of a top tier hero.

I'm like, 75% sure i can do the tourney, Mom's nurse visits are reduced and she's able to take care of her self more. I'm more worried about how my work schedule is gonna look. I've got a lot of Mid's sprinkled through out and that always throws me for a loop.

Ive been trying to get myself to focus on the pile of comic projects Ive got set up. But Junko has completely hijacked my brain. Unsurprisingly me jumping from one new project to the next. But thats fine. I started working on her character sheet and stewing on an intro comic for her.

Junko is proving to be an interesting reverse OC makin' scenario for me. First time where I've ironed out a characters Themes and back stories before the design. Im hoping this means she'll be super easy to write for.

Thank you! Yeah, my feelings thus far, is it's more about not having agency in that position. She enjoyed getting to really know people. Moments when the client had brought down the walls and spoke to her as someone who was truly listening and felt heard.

with her background as a companion droid, Im leaning towards not using that as a negative for her, but one of the reasons she was chosen. An innate need for intimacy, connection as focus for her. Deeply empathetic.

She is very bubbly,sensual and has a strong sense of purpose, and is very devout to "mother/St.Lost data". But she is also extremely sensory seeking (a left over of her programing as a companion droid). and is often seeking high risk thrills and experiences,even to her own detriment.

Essentially, Junk is a "companion" droid. Older model and soon to be de-comissioned. During a night with a John, Junko has a near death experience and is essentially greeted by an AI/ digital psychopomp (been calling them St.Lost data, but needs a better name. santa muerte esque figure but for AI)

Took a break from any mega drawing the last couple days for my wrist + burn out avoidance. Hangin' at my other partners place and we've been watching the new ghost in the shell and im loving it. Very Inky coded adaptation.

with her goal of getting into and selling at the famed night market at one of the larger floating island cities. She wants to create servitors that ultimately help people (and struggling with her self worth in that regard, she's only worth while if she can be useful)

Current backstory im marinating on for her, is she's a craftsmen that originally worked for the governing body of the mainland, but left after seeing the destruction her creations caused and now works as a freelancer+Sells creations at different markets and towns.

With Different creative practices being woven with different magickal schools of thought. Sybil's being a metaphor for creating characters with Animstic/chaos magick influences.

Posting here too to purge thoughts so I can focus on the comic projects at hand. Sybil is a character I've had mulling around for a while, but i think in the story I'm writing about a lot of the ideas I wanted to attempt to explore with Myrtle on Oculama where kinda a proto-type for this.

I also think if we out the battle back up if my opponent has the energy after their tournament battle, Im gonna try hanging out in the Oculama VC chat again like I did when I first joined. Its good motivation when hangin with friends and I dont get so in my head about stuff.

My goal for tonight after work is to sit down and re-do the Thumbs for my Pinn vs Wild card comic. Not starting completely from scratch, but I feel like I could do better than what I had going.

I think also giving my self permission not every comic is going to be amazing but just focusing on a consistent practice has been helping a lot.
