Hiya! I'm Ari and I draw a lot of girls being dramatic and various kinds of ttrpg brainrot 💙
An illustration of Tessa Quinn from the webcomic Sleepless Domain. She is wearing dark clothing and a dark expression, silhouetted against a bright stained-glass window depicting a pink magical girl wearing a benevolent expression. Dark goo seeps from the window.Illustration of Sayaka Miki and the witch Oktavia von Seckendorff from the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Sayaka has her eyes closed and is holding an overflowing cup, standing in a field of swords. Oktavia looms behind her, sword and conductor's wand raised.Sailor Moon from the SailorMoonRedraw challenge. She is looking off to her right looking determined, against a blue background.A determined-looking girl with long red hair, wearing a green dress and holding a giant magical tome in one hand. She sits in the middle of a glowing green magical circle surrounded by candles, casting a spell. The window behind her shows the night sky.

TEXT ON BLUE BACKGROUND: Debt
The CEO landed on the seventh day. The irony didn’t escape us, though I wished it would. His ship was the size of one of our small moons and shook the ground when it landed. He slid his glasses down his nose, eyes glowing from the inside out and diamonds for teeth. I wondered how he ate, if he ate at all. “We warned you,” he said with his diamond-mouth not even moving.

One the first day, the oceans were sucked up into the heavens like a reverse cyclone. The forests plucked up by a machine with tweezer-like hands on the second. The mountains were turned into upturned palms. They took the clouds next like we were children being punished for looking up. The animals were gone long before the Company arrived, but on the final day, the sixth, sickness left us too. No one complained of a sore throat or infection, and the planet, I’m afraid, I am so afraid, we will be devoid of death next. Our empty world will be a cage where even a coffin cannot free us.

They took everything for the planet’s debt and the king of deathlessness himself stood before us. We were a small planet, foolish, borrowed too much to make our home, but we had one last thing to give the CEO and we did so gladly: our president sneezed, violently, in his face. Me, and what was left of the scientists, smiled. Microbes developed in the wake of all other microbes being wiped out are often devilish little bastards.

TEXT: [TITLE] In the Headless Garden. [STORY] In the court gardens, the last queen of the Stone Kingdom strolls the grounds, choosing her new head. She is only fifteen and cannot decide between the birdbath or a rosebush. The court advisor has chosen a lantern for a head, streaming light day and night on the parliaments’ ruins. The jester has chosen a rotten pumpkin that sags and spills seeds down her shoulders. She’ll replace it soon, carving new faces on each new gourd. Lately, the smile has grown wider and wider with the news. The first queen wears a crown in place of a head, missing the rubies and emeralds, but the gold buffeted to shine. The first queen walks only at night, only in the darkest corners of the castle grounds, gold glinting in torchlight.

The last queen though, only fifteen, barely spoke the language of the land, and gestures, frantically for the knight. He carries the last head the garden will ever see. The knight tosses it down and the last queen picks up the king's head. She places it on her stump, laughing, laughing, using his mouth and his terribly empty eyes. They’ll rest, tomorrow they’ll rest, lantern gone out and pumpkin gone rotten, but for that day, she will laugh.

Finally starting to move stuff over here! Maeve, a witch OC from an old game of Mystic Lilies that I don't think I ever posted back on the hellsite
A digital art illustration of a witch character smiling and holding a large umbrella decorated with ribbons and anemone flowers against a black backdrop. The witch is wearing a white skirt and hat, and the umbrella ends in a sharp point.

Started a writing challenge today! Doing a microfiction exercises in the new year. #writing #fantasy #fiction #writingcommunity #microfiction #fantasyfic
Green background with words. Title: Druid's Folly. Words: Once the vultures were sighted setting fires, the druids knew it was too late. For years they had been keeping the inevitable at bay. They had the dwarves take the canniest bats so deep underground they could never find their way out again. They had the elves cull any lizard that grew larger than a man. They had humans rip out the hearts of crows that used gold in their nests.

Of course, there is no way to stop the emergence of dragons in a land like theirs. And the birds were starting to set fires again.
