What if the InkMark trophy was just a glass puzzle? Asking because I am scared of soldering all these pieces together.

Mini update! Historical Fiction has been added to the genre-crest! I know I’m stretching a bit, but it’s wings full of… quills. Which are at least a little more historical than pens 😶
The InkFoundry crest which represents the genres of the story it is assigned to. The historical crest has feathered wings worked into the usual octopus/tentacle design.

I'm working on a personalized Newsletter that will showcase monthly highlights and send you stories from authors, tags, and publishers you follow. I'm taking suggestions for anything else potential recipients would like to recieve in an inbox on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.

Heyo! Got a question in my inbox yesterday and I'm happy to clarify! It gave me a kick in the shins to start a glossary you can find here: inkfoundry.net/inkfoundrys-...
A screenshot of InkFoundry's glossary entry for the Amphekis classes

It reads, quote, Standard Amphēkis Classes:

M/M: a relationship between male characters.

F/F : a relationship between female characters.

F/M: a relationship between female and male characters.

NB/NB:  a relationship between non-binary characters.

X/X: A broader amphēkis indicating a central queer relationship, where the specific genders are secondary to the queer nature of the bond.

Gender Inclusivity & Specification:
A foundational principle of this tag is that gender identity is paramount. The letters M and F refer to a character's gender, not their sex assigned at birth. This ensures the taxonomy is respectful, accurate, and aligned with the lived reality of the characters it describes.

Trans Women are Women: A character tagged with a narrative infix such as trans!woman is identified as F within an amphēkis. A relationship involving a trans woman and a cis man is categorized under the F/M amphēkis.

Trans Men are Men: Similarly, a trans!man is identified as M. A story about a trans man and a non-binary character would be categorized under an M/NB amphēkis. End Quote.
