Interesting, to me it feels very comforting! But part of the beauty of dramatic landscapes is also this sort of sublimity of nature, so I can see how it can be scary rather than just mysterious. The poetry that this piece is illustrating is also rather dark, so yeah that fits haha

Love these etchings, so much movement and mood. I can feel the dip and swell in those seascapes, the rush and chill of the wind in the storm, and hear the flap of wings over muffled footsteps in the snow.

Sorry for my radio silence here! I'm experimenting a lot with personal art and mixed media atm and it needs to just.... grow into something first. Lots of hiccups with certain media or techniques not working well together. But I haven't felt so creative in a long time! Also new tree etching WIP

The Old Oak (final version) Zinc etching, 30 x 40 cm I realised these flowy lines had been a reoccuring thing in my work for years, so I built this etching around that. Currently working on a sort of sequel to this one!
