The hurricane isn’t hitting us, but it’s been absolutely pissin’ for days in Orlando. We finally have a break and 70% humidity which means…. I can prime! Finally. Also, PLA doesn’t like 150grit sandpaper. Getting 220 next time. 🙃

Second horn completed. The right horn had some issues and took almost a day to print. There is an obvious error line, but easily sanded. I still haven’t decided the horn design or if I want to paint my body. I’d hate to walk around the airport stained red/ or blue. #tiefling #bg3

“My Brilliant Career” is such a beautifully made period drama. 6 episodes and they did it so well. Now I’ll have to read the two books because I can’t get enough. I LOVE Sybylla. She’s wild, free, creative and a fun female lead. This was girl power done well. #mybrilliantcareer #booksky

After taking months off, I finally finished Danse Macabre. That was the most boring Anita Blake book from the series so far. I finished Harlequin in a day and now on book 16. FINALLY some Jason backstory! If you’re reading the series, pretend macabre doesn’t exist or just mentally prep yourselves.

That was the most depraved book I’ve ever read. I’m ok with shock, gore, etc, but there’s a line I don’t even cross and “Dead Inside” didn’t even give a warning about it. Read if you’re curious, but mentally prepare by researching themes. It’s horrid. Had to put it down. #booksky #extremehorror

I can see why The Everlasting is getting a tv adaptation. I think the book will translate well to screen which is wild to say because I don’t generally like book adaptations. Netflix picked it up so it’ll be a toss up. PLEASE cast Una well. She better not be smol and fragile. 🔪 #booksky

Although its a bit too fast paced for my taste and left me begging for more detailing, I didn't mind the story. LOVED the gargoyle. I laughed so many times with his ridiculousness. Second book comes out in September. Romance, medieval, magic...might be up someone's alley. #booksky

I haven't been reading as much because I got a Switch 2 and playing a ton of Pokopia, but I did finish Weavingshaw which is supposed to be a trilogy from what I read. If you like a slow burn romance and the paranormal, you may enjoy this. It was an entertaining short read. #booksky

Note to self: Do some research before starting a series. Reading “One Last Rainy Day” first was a huge mistake. On kindle unlimited, it says it’s 1 of 4 so I dove right in. I basically got the cliffsnotes of the first three books because it’s a POV of one of the main characters. 🤦🏻‍♀️ #Ravenhood

Everything up to Obsidian Butterfly was fun, but now I’m struggling to continue this series. Loved Anita Blake when I was in HS and wanted to reread and catch up, but I’m afraid it’ll only get worse. Blake’s character development was so strange to me then and still is. #booksky 🤞🏻 it gets better.
