FIREFLY WEDDING got an anime adaptation and I'm so pleased. Characters belong to Oreco Tachibana . Artwork by me.

An illustration, from very bright at the bottom to very dark at the top. It features the lead characters of FIREFLY WEDDING, Satoko and Shinpei embraced. Satoko, in her pale kimono sleeps against Shinpei's chest as he wraps a protective arm around her. His visible eye alert and looking at the audience. Small lights pass in the air around them.

A small doodle of Satoko and Shinpei from FIREFLY WEDDING. Caught in a small day to day moment. Satoko wiping Shinpei's face clean while scolding him. Shinpei is happy to ignore her scolding and bask in her attention.

Happy First Day of Halloween 🍂 Throwback cartoon. Circa 2023

A black and white illustration of me driving in my car happily. Beside me, buckled in, is a carved pumpkin. It's an old cartoon. But a goodie.

OOTD Day! (currently I am listening to bad financial decisions)

An illustration of myself. I'm holding a raspberry scone and my trademark sparkling water Spindrift. Blue headphones sit on my head. Text beside the headphones reads: 'listening to either world news or complete trash.'

I'm always listening to one of the two.

One of my books coming up are gonna have me painting SO MANY BACKGROUNDS. I'm trying to get ahead of the curve and strengthen those muscles before it becomes the only thing I can afford to think about.

A digital painting in blues of a choppy ocean at night. The fog rolling in and the water breaking up against the rocks.

...there might be something out there.

This is... the process (Not fishing, but if you're in any kind of field where you always want to be doing 'better,' then you probably understand the mindset.)

A two panel comic.

The first panel has no borders and just features me in my office chair. Text above reads: 'I am terrible.' There are then four speech bubbles around me reading 'My backgrounds are terrible, my colors are terrible, my character designs are terrible, my storytelling is terrible.'

In the second panel I make a tired, resigned face as I twirl my pen and say: '...' 'So, I guess I've got to do it some more.'

It's National Library Day! I thought it'd be fun to draw my favorite 'book enthusiasts' from REAL SCIENCE ADVENTURES: THE NICODEMUS JOB in a modern setting.

An illustration in red, green, and yellow of several characters from ATOMIC ROBO's REAL SCIENCE ADVENTURES: THE NICODEMUS JOB. The camera is above a narrow staircase packed with books.

Two characters are traveling up towards the camera, but their attention is on the novels. In the back a third is carrying a heft of books out of scene.

A bright light hangs above the stairway.

It's World Puppetry Day! Which reminded me of Orio and her like from my very first webcomic, the steampunk fantasy HINGES.

A black and white illustration of a theater backstage. The camera is looking slightly upwards, with a curvature to the lines like a fish eye lens. At the front, looking down at the audience is Orio, the lead from the webcomic HINGES. She's a doll with reticulated joints. In her hands she's weaving white ropes that lead off her into the ceiling, reminiscent of a puppet.

Enjoy some selkies on this fine Irish day.

An illustration of several seals milling around some mossy beach rocks. In the upper right corner we can see the legs of a person standing beside the seals. The fact that the seals are unbothered by their presence suggests familiarity.
