We've visited the Street Delivery festival yday and it was so lovely. Life as I imagine it should be 🥰 A street filled with people making music, playing games, sharing books, eating ice-cream. Most games were made from reclaimed wood by a local artist. 🎶🏸♟️🎯📚🍦🔨🧶

Not at all.. it's frustrating. Few people wear masks, only when they're sick. Ppl don't really make a fuss anymore seeing me wearing an ffp2. Both for which I'm grateful. But desinformation has done a good job, unfortunately :/

Plant a wildlife hedge instead of building a fence! It could help hedgehogs, bumblebees, blue tits, small mammals, insects, robins, frogs, bats, toads, dunnocks, butterflies, moths, blackbirds, solitary bees, wrens, hoverflies...

Seen on our walk today: 🪱 a legless lizard basking in the sun, so I took the high road ;) 🪶 talon marks on the path, from a bird taking a small mammal? 🐻 several bear droppings, sorry no photo 😅

I haven't knitted many sweaters because they seem to take a long time to finish 😅 But, I love the look of the Free Flow Sweater so I took to the plunge and am giving it a go. And the cotton/linen yarn is really nice to knit with :) #ShowMeYourKnits 🧶

These plum trees are old (I don't know their name) and we should graft them. The fruit is very sweet, a beautiful taste. And, or but, they come with a free side of protein ;) 🐛

My friend chose our village's lovely garden cafe to get together for their 'șezătoare' 😍. In the shade of trees friendly neighbours joined in and we sat, talked, learnt, knitted & crocheted (not necessarily in that order 😉) #knitting #crochet 🧶

Bomen zijn de ultieme stadsverkoelers en zodra het kwik stijgt wil iedereen meer bomen in de buurt. Het klinkt eenvoudig: plant bomen! Maar eigenlijk is elke boom op straat een enorme opgave voor mens én boom, zegt de man die 300.000 hoofdstedelijke bomen overeind houdt.
