If Photoshop (even non beta) is suddenly giving you more saturated colors in the latest update try turning off graphics acceleration and restarting PS. I don't understand how this bug is in a public release. Getting color right seems like core competency level stuff.

Sharing a few secret cosplay photography FX presets I made in Capture One but you could easily recreate them in Lightroom too. Making them a preset helps me auto-generate the layer structure each time with a single click.

As an artist sometimes I think I'm just
making fun silly little pictures but I do think
now more than ever we can all use more
that fantasy and escape and joy in our lives.

Getting more dynamic range with Fujifilm jpgs is so easy! Just bump the Iso +1 stop past base to enable the DR menu then choose DR200 and the camera secretly captures 1 stop below what you picked to save the highlights and pushes the shadows up in processing. :P

As a digital artist I find some new revelation to using curves every few years: 1. General contrast 2. RGB contrast 3. RGB vs CMY 3. Curves with layer modes 4. Saturation vs luminosity 5. Curve locking 6. Filmic curves 7. Subtractive RGB 8. Color space middle gray 9. Preventing breakage

I made flash cards for how I direct scenes for cosplay photography to help guide posing for story. I try to capture the before or after action vs mid/primary action since this best represents the motion through anticipation or follow-through which is also use in animation.
