Show me yours! Where it starter versus where it ended up. #art #tradart #acrylic Had a team building workshop and had about 15 min to sketch out responses to 4 questions, then 20 min to pick one to paint. Had't touched a paintbrush in years and given the time limit I'm pretty happy with it.

In the bottom right is a sketch of my spouse, a woman with long hair, represents an influential person in my life. The final sketch in the bottom left shows a sketch of a bald man walking away down a path in the woods as a response to something I love about myself and intended to represent my ability and comfort to enjoy time alone existing in the moment.

Reading "What Feasts At Night" by @tkingfisher.com and when I got to this passage I simply couldn't read the word 'Laudanum' without hearing it in head being delivered by @gianster98.bsky.social in the same admonishing tone from @poe-evermore.bsky.social. 😆

With the remake coming out been hearin' a ton about #SoulReaver lately; which had me feelin' nostalgic so I fired up the ole #Dreamcast, dusted off the projector, and loaded it up for a spin.

Partner and I took a family walk with our toddler down to the local coffee shop's new location for a coffee, then to the local bookstore's new location to expand the horde. 🐉📚

We had a games of all kinds day the other weekend that included an rPi running RetroPi and loaded up with all the classics.

I absolutely LOVE that mail in ballots are the only option in WA. No taking time off to go wait in lines, AND they send a nice fat book of all the candidates and items on the ballot. I can sit and review at my leisure to make my choices rather than being stuck guessing on an item I wasn't ready for.

We were camping up in the Cascades for the 4th of July and this was hiking up in the Mt Baker area. It was a warm day and she was happy to see some snow up near the top to cool down in!
