Repost from mastodon 1/2 What a year 2025 has been. End of last year/beginning of 2025 I made my first contribution to OSS project (uBlue) and got sucked in. Now at the end of the year I’m one of the co-maintainers of Aurora.

Threads seemed a really nice platform after the X fiasco that happened and is still happening. But in the end I am not really surprised that Meta is now taking same kind of steps that X took and cutting down 3rd party moderation in place for "community notes".
