#OC #OriginalCharacter It takes me a while to draw stuff but uh, I did this thing! I'm quite happy with how this turned out. This iteration of Roscoe drowned in a river during Winter.

Work in progress drawing of Roscoe; his original illustration is on the side for reference purposes. Dominantly flat colours with just the outline and a rudimentary sketch of a rib-cage is visible with a frozen-looking portion where the heart would be located.

Ditto of last image, only zoomed in on the icey cavity that shows his heart and greater detail of the chest ice itself.

Been drawing again. Some improvements to make but yeah, y'know. Fuckass ribcage to figure out if things look reasonably okay or not.

Work in progress line art drawing of a bipedal, digitigrade character, currently without arms as they haven't been drawn yet. A crude ribcage has been drawn with an equally crude heart drawn underneath so the artist knows where the rough centre is as it will be an important detail later for this art piece.

I keep seeing people thinking this is a bluesky problem. If you're seeing this it thinks you're in a state or country with age verification laws. This is what every social media site will do if KOSA and the KIDS Act succeeds. Running to another socmed won't fix it, we have to fight the source.

YES. Also, fuck anyone trying to undermine the autonomy and self conception trans kids & teens. A paper I've been cooking up has cited peer-reviewed, quality studies showing the cognitive & intellectual capacity to make these choices. So many are undermined that it has caused DEATHS.

There's a difference in acknowledging consequences of certain actions and *actively* wishing for that consequence. The issue is usually what people think they're doing VS what they actually are doing and not recognising that. Some people can't be convinced. They deserve absolute basic rights still.

The UK's medical history and culture loves professionalising knowledge rather than actually improving health outcomes, is one part of the answer. It's, unfortunately, deeply baked into law too and everyone is just "following the docs and references", using bad law and policy to hide from criticism.

To me, it's always been about control. Anything outside of the perceived norm is seen as somehow needing to be "fixed" or "corrected". They just use pseudoscience as a shield. It's subjugation or erasure if you don't adhere - said that in another post of mine.

Studies are often ignored or taken out of context too. I mean, the Cass Review found (pages 168 and 169) that detransitioning and regret rates were abysmally low for GIDS patients AND SOMEHOW still concluded "gender exploratory therapy" as the frontline response??? This shit is baked into the NHS.
