Pro-independence for Scotland and any other peoples that want it. Doing my little bit to push this agenda along. Here for comment not argument. It's nice to be nice, so trolls, name-callers and rude people will be blocked.

I found this a good a very informative read, based on a large garden study of different sized gardens in Sheffield. Three key things - plant a tree, have a pond (even a tiny one), and don't use slug pellets. www.waterstones.com/book/no-nett...

The SOLAS convention 1974, UNCLOS 1982 and generally accepted rules mandates that if you are at sea and find people in distress, you must make all reasonable attempts to save them and take them to the nearest place of safety. The RNLI exemplify this rule and they have saved almost 150,000 lives

And all of which, including PR, depending on Labour winning the next UK general election. Very unlikely. To make it more so they need to bring in PR *for* that election.

Wouldn’t disagree with much that Burnham said today in what was an excellent speech. But… 90% of the substance is focused on England catching up with Scotland (Bus fares, rail nationalisation, water in public control, free social care and PR in elections). Not much for Scotland except Unionism!

Most of Burnham's promises were for policies to be introduced after the next GE, the national care service, reform of the voting system, closer ties with the EU, all put off until after the next GE - political code for ‘never’. It was a very traditional Labour speech, the jam is always tomorrow.

Either it’s a voluntary union, with its members having their own rights to self-determination, at any point or points of their choosing, or it isn’t. If it isn’t, it is an involuntary one where the largest member decides on their behalf. London denies Scotland that right, so it is the second.

Dear unionists, the only way to measure a 'consensus' is to hold a an actual vote on the issue. What's the problem?
031
Colin Dunn 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @indyposterboy.scot · 29/09/2026
You can't tell what the 'consensus' is or the result will be without actually voting. All that can be told without a vote is that support for a vote exceeds 65%. Anything else is just an attempt by Unionists to delay. Delay. Delay. As long as they can.
