Scotland needs to get out of this asylum. We don't need expensive nuclear power - we need grid stability and energy storage solutions to match our renewables.

When someone says we are going to build Nuclear to 'protect our energy supply' and you find out it will take 20-25 years and cost 10x as much per Watt as Renewable. Do you not realize it is a scam? 👇🏻

Now is the time to become acquainted with the enormous cost and ridiculously long timescales to build new nuclear plant. Also - don't fall for the Potemkin village and the latest baloney on 'small modular reactors'. They are unicorns - we have heard of them, but no one has ever seen one.

Westminster’s 2018 powergrab of Scottish devolved powers included nuclear waste planning and disposal. I wonder where they’ll want to dump it? Somewhere 'remote', I imagine, with a 'low population'.

The other baloney they are spouting is that they have 'learned the lessons' from Hinkley C. Only idiots don't learn from the last project - but the next project will have it's own expensive set of issues. That is the nature of projects. If they are so confident, they should reveal the budget.

Lesley - that is just for the enabling works. Sizewell C is now 76% owned by the UK Government - and therefore all taxpayers are underwriting this £45 Billion plan which will do nothing for the government's Net Zero plans. Pro Indy parties need to take Reform and the Tories head-on on this topic.

If I was SNP's speechwriter, I'd go with something like.. "You can either have a nice Scottish Gov who provide you with good things & try to make Scotland better, or you can have a nasty British racist coalition, who take everything away, & try to make it as shit as it is in England. Your choice!"

“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record. They run them bc people react to them the most. If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change. It’s not easy and takes constant practice!

Great stuff Colin. We need to expose their anti Scottish, anti Europe, anti NHS stance at every opportunity. We must 'get our retaliation in first' and establish the narrative now - as the 2026 election will be decided in 2025 and not during the election campaign. Farage and Musk are fascists!

Labour are either liars or don't know what they are doing - which is embarrassing as they had 14 years in opposition. They have the corrupt BBC working for them - but the bigger threat is from Farage's fascistas! We should be exposing their pro-Brexit, pro-privitisation positions with urgency!

Perhaps the Police could start by looking at video footage in the establishments in which these crimes take place. My daughter was spiked a few years ago. Thankfully her boyfriend was with her. He gave a clear and detailed description of a man acting suspiciously. Never heard from the Police again.
