As an educator, I am concerned about the destruction of truth. There is a concerted effort to wipe away the importance of truth across the board — an attempt to make trusted authorities into optics of suspicion. We must keep defending all the brave, courageous truth-tellers out there.

Last Friday Phillip Delaney was convicted of felony aggravated assault for violently injuring two senior citizens at our protest on 7/4/25. We should not have to fear violence from our neighbors for exercising our right to free speech. @indivisible.org @ezralevin.bsky.social @maddow.bsky.social

The judge consulted with both attorneys and decided to adjourn for the day. On Friday, July 17, the judge began the morning proceedings with instructions to the jury. Closing arguments were presented by both attorneys and the case went to the jury at approximately 11:45 AM.
