There are people loitering in the shadows and someone's getting beat up around the corner. Ren and Ansel pay no attention to any of them. Ansel: Only way a kid like you has that many creds to throw away is because they're not yours and I don't play that game. Ansel gestures dismissively at an indignant Ren behind him. Ansel: And I don't work for teenagers either. Ren: I'm twenty-four! With his back to the viewer, he disappears down the unlit street and points at his head, leaving Ren behind in the darkness outside the bar. Ansel: Your brain's not done developing yet. Same thing. Ren rushes toward Ansel with a wild, unhinged look on her face, yelling: Jesus shitting m-mother cunt-ass dick fuck! That was awesome!! Ansel looks skeptical if not concerned and asks: Whoa there, you okay? Ren shouts back: I've never felt better in my life! Fuck! In the next panel, we pull out and the characters are small in the still, quiet landscape. Ren is bent over with one hand on her head and the other bracing against Ansel's belly. He puts a hand on her back and frowns. Ren: Actually, I-I think I need to lie down.

In the last panel, Ansel's arm takes up most of the frame and Ren looks up at him, possibly caught off-guard by the gesture, possibly sensing this is a more intimate moment than she anticipated.

I have a day job (not entirely fulltime) and that’s my only source of income. I also have other hobbies, like cross stitching, knitting, crocheting, gaming, etc. I’m still new to making a comic, but so far I’ve at most been able to make one page a week (which is my goal, for now at least). …

Sy can be brutal at times, but he’s not a monster. But he could shoot you in the face if things happen to work out that way. It really depends on the situation whether he’ll do so reluctantly or if he’ll gloat about it afterwards.
