My 25th as a US citizen today. I have *never* felt more embarrassed about being a citizen than now. I'm not going anywhere and will do my part to resist and protest and participate in our failing democracy. But I have my limits, & if it really hits the fan, I'll investigate returning to the UK.

I got some new art, sweetie-darling! “Layer Cake” is my second painting by my San Diego friend Michael Wheelden. I also have a painting of a street scene near where I lived in SD, so it seemed right to get a painting of a real house here. Will snap a pic of the house in Palm Springs soon.
