I just got this warning. My house won’t flood but could have mudslides. I’ve been dealing with upper neighbors water draining off their 2 houses and I landscaped property above me. They don’t have proper drainage it just pours down to my house. 😬

My son and DIL read to my granddaughter and she could read chapter books prior to kindergarten. By age 12-13 she was reading authors like Dostoevsky. She just turned 16 and graduated from high school last week and starting college. All I believe from reading.

I had flank hernia Thursday too. So bored already. I hope your recovery passes quickly.

Had open incisional hernia surgery yesterday. On my side right below ribs. It was from a BRUTAL spine surgery. Flank hernias are only 1-2% of hernias. Was super freaked about pain but only felt like a torn muscle last night & now hardly anything. I’m superrrrrrrr bored though. Ugh weeks of this.

My gorgeous 9 year old avocado tree incinerated in this heat wave and is totally dead. It had >40 avocados growing this year. Thanks climate change deniers! I’m trying to shore up my property for upcoming rains. I’m sure I’ll have more casualties. 😭 The pomegranate tree I’m growing from seed is ok.

We had an incredibly warm winter. I knew it was gonna be a hot summer. This is beyond record breaking though. If Dems don’t take over we’re doomed.

I actually think we should keep manufacturing oversees and train Americans for green energy, skilled and technical jobs. It would be a mamouth undertaking to transfer the level of manufacturing they have over here.

Thought I’d share my take on the current peanut noodle internet craze. It’s really incredible and so easy. Chili crisp gives a hot bite. I simmer my sauce a minute or so to incorporate the garlic and ginger.

Did you know you can make incredible refried beans with a can of pinto beans? Dump undrained in a pan add a 1/2 tsp each garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, cumin, 1/4 tsp salt and coarse ground pepper add more if needed. Mash with potato ricer while it’s cooking. Made me a salmon taco.
