I was looking up matthew shear, who plays tony in mistress america because I was like "he's so funny, why doesn't he work more?" apparently he works a ton! just in stuff I haven't seen. he wrote, directed, and starred in a movie with amanda peet, bob balaban, and andrea martin so I gotta watch that

today is the third anniversary of the passing of my friend rich. he was a cartoonist and storyboard artist whose work you've enjoyed if you are between the ages of 15-70. one of the great joys of my life was getting to go to his 70th birthday party and drinking with a bunch of old dirtbag animators
