Riku is cool for the first like five or so worlds because you can kind of just turn your brain off and hack n slash your way through but playing as him just feels. so shallow. were it not for the story context it adds id genuinely recommend skipping it entirely

this game also kind of has the SMT4 bell curve of challenge where the beginning is pretty tough, you get your bearings and rip through the midgame, and then endgame shoots you out of the sky and kicks you while youre down Marluxia is an INSANE fight holy shit
