I'm come to realise I am not hating at my full potential. Just saw a comment that said "I hope your immune system recognises your eyes as foreign objects"

Grandpa's Anime recommendations Episode 13: Hellsing Ultimate It's the 2006 OVA of a 2001 anime. My absolute favourite anime that I rewatch multiple times a year. If you like nazi-killing and vampires, this is the show for you.

If I ever get the delight to meet Sam Altman I am swinging the most unbridled right hook humanity has ever seen. Also, fuck the ramstick mafia. Can't afford to play videogames as a whole because of parts and console prices, I hate it here.

Grandpa's Anime recommendations Episode 12: The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash Looking for a 12-episode anime to binge on the weekend and just relax ? No huge, flashy fights, just the short story of a child finding it's place in the world ? Look no further S+ anime, loved it

This game is a fucking joke. Phrolova and Cantarella are there just to fill Galbrena's bar faster and somehow this team does better than the "meta" mono fusion burst.

Grandpa's Anime recommendations Episode 11: Takt Op.Destiny Although this anime is basically marketing for Nambai Banco's mobile game, the concept and world building are unique and interesting. The animation work really adds to the musical aspect the anime has. I highly recommend.

Grandpa's Anime recommendations Episode 10: Metallic Rouge Although mainly tagged with Action and Sci-Fi, I found this 13-episode anime to have quite the refreshing comedy. Maybe it's my broken sense of humour. If you are wondering what to binge on a weekend, I recommend this one.

Grandpa's Anime recommendations. Episode 9: Ruri Rocks "I assure you, dear viewers, that one of the main characters being thicker than a bowl of oatmeal is crucial to the plot of the anime about geology" It's wholesome and educational. I enjoyed it. S+ tier

How do I explain to anyone that I caught a cold because I stood outside smoking on the balcony at 3am on a cold December night because the singe of a cigarette butt is the only warmth my lips consistently feel...

As the cold northern winds blow in, I'm preparing myself for the long winter by stockpiling myself with material for movie marathons. Besides LoTR, Pirates of the Caribbean, Underworld and Resident Evil, what other franchises make up for a good movie marathon ?

Grandpa's Anime recommendations. Episode 8: Fire Force "But gramps, there's fanservice" so do 99% of animes. That's what the japanese do. Get over it. The audio engineering and animators went hard in the sauce. Just look at this out of context image and hop on to watch it.

Grandpa's Anime recommendations. Episode 7: Overlord. Yes, it has it's flaws, but it's amidst the isekai I like. A decently-written villain story, lots of mystery to be solved throughout the series as well. The CGI isn't even bad in it either. AA tier in my books.

Grandpa's Anime recommendations. Episode 5: Kengan Ashura. The unique art style it has, the dramatic flair and over-the-top martial arts. I write this while still in awe of the last 2 episodes and having read the manga, I really hope we get Kengan Omega. Great battle tournament anime!

Grandpa's Anime recommendations. Episode 4: So I'm a Spider, So What? After finishing the episodes, I am saddened to find out that there will be no season 2. Still, a lovely mix of comedy and intricate action. A certain plot twist got me off my chair since I didn't expect it at all. S-tier anime.

Grandpa's Anime recommendations. Episode 3: Kaiju No.8 Season 1 was great. I cannot lie and say I'm not a huge sucker for shonen series. It has a nice bit of comedic scenes sprinkled in for variety as well. And the art style of the kaiju monsters is GREAT and flavourful. Can't wait for season 2!

Grandpa's Anime recommendations. Episode 2: ID: INVADED 13 episodes of thrilling, supernatural/sci-fi mystery that ramps up into the most mindfuck ending. "Minority Report" the anime with some twists. Honestly, you can just watch it for Kenjiro Tsuda voices the main character.

Grandpa's Anime recommendations. Episode 1: The Elusive Samurai Currently at only 1 season, I've had a lot of fun watching this series. The art is top-notch and the story is rather interesting. There are some funny moments, questionable homoerotic scenes and some gore. S-tier anime.
