The original artist even made a follow-up comic recognizing this!

Four-panel comic.

First panel: Adam Ellis, teary-eyed, in a snowy forest holding a gun, saying "I'm sorry for what I'm about to do..."

Second panel: Ellis standing behind the bottom two panels of the "Let people enjoy things" comic with arms and legs. Ellis says "You've gone mad... I don't have a choice..." and the comic says "Wait! You don't have to do th—"

Third panel: A distant shot of the treetops and scattering birds with the sound effect "BLAM!"

Fourth panel: Ellis standing over the comic's corpse saying "I'm... sorry..."

And not totally creepy like this random horny reviewer guy. Maybe that's cynical, probably wrong, but I'm curious to see what EFAP's reaction to the review is then. Do they end up agreeing with Alex? Do they disagree to sweep for themselves? I can see both as entirely possible 🫩 (2/2)

I'm so conflicted on the Alex Meyers situation, not because his review isn't complete dogshit apologia, but because... well I wonder if it's blown up as a way for people to cover for themselves. After the first wave of reactions, it feels like people jumped on to decry how they were better (1/2)

Every script has been solid, even the supergirl movie from what I saw of it. Supergirls' main problem was the horrificly bad pacing, visual direction in some parts, and sequencing. Every issue I had could've been fixed in the edit, but I Def need to give it a rewatch.

Depressed I feel on the inside just hoping they understand why I wasn't in a state to come in the day before. I just want a few days to sit, idle, be empty, be peacefully depressed and alone. Thankfully, it was Tuesday and I can do just that for now. (3/3)

Most of the time when I draw, it's just a flow of ideas. I work fast, loose, and aggressive, with no forethought, and that's when my emotions and internal workings are best put on page. Honestly, when I have a plan or predestined idea (such as a story or comic), that's when drawing is hardest. #art

Gen AI is an active danger to all neurodivergent people, I will not hear another word to the contrary. It's literally preying on anxieties, intrusive thoughts, isolation, and inducing psychosis episodes in people. How dare someone try and defend AI by claiming it is somehow useful to us.
