THE FINAL RECKONING is a mess. Overloaded with plot, oddly paced, and the score is the weakest in the franchise - but the set pieces hit hard. There’s an underwater scene that rivals THE ABYSS. I didn't like the film, but I really loved parts of it.

I know for a fact that many highly successful filmmakers also want to make YouTube videos, and they see it as a really viable way to not only promote their work but to learn and grow as a maker. I like making movies and I like talking about movies, so I turned that into a career.

NOSFERATU - Slow horror on fast forward. A throwback to classic horror, but weighed down by modern pitfalls. It kept rushing to nowhere, with jump scares that clashed with the aesthetic and overshadowed strong performances from Depp and Skarsgård. I tried to love this. It's 100% my shit. Damn.
