A misleading rumor is circulating online that Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine can cause hantavirus. It is true that hantavirus is listed as an adverse event for the vaccine, but it is not a side effect. Vaccine side effects are things caused by the vaccine itself, like mild fever or sore arm.
