I just got a sudden fear about what if my therapist just dies. I'm not expecting that, but nobody expected his brother to go into a coma and not come out, either. He is in his 70s and I don't know why he had to go back into the hospital this time.

Anyway I'm from WOODSTOCK, NEW YORK; don't talk to me about hippie/hipster/indie anything. 😂 We INVENTED the indie record store, the hipster coffee spot, the locally-owned curio shop. Our library was the first in the state to do away with late fees.

He got back into town and scheduled our usual appointment this week and then yesterday sent me an email canceling it because he's back in the hospital again. 🥲 He didn't say why but I assume it's related to the back surgery he recently had. 🥲

My therapist was out for 2 weeks for surgery, I got 2 sessions, and now he's out again for at LEAST this week because his brother is in a coma and they're removing his feeding tube; who knows how long he'll actually be out since the brother is probably going to die. 🙃 #therapy #therapist #surgery

I can never scream in my #dreams (anymore). Whether I'm having an actual #nightmare or it's something like "if you do that I'll #scream," it always comes out like a #whisper. If I put a lot of effort into it, it turns into real life effort and I wake myself up by getting out an "uh" in real life

At the #sandwich shop a guy asked if I could buy him a sandwich and I said sorry, I don't have any money (which is true; I was using points), but then they were out of all of their #bread. I got the last full loaf, & then they only had "mini" sizes, so I said OK, I'll buy him a mini.

When my nose is cold everything is cold. I am freezing but if I get out of bed to do anything about it I'll never get back to sleep. If I'm too cold I can't sleep, either. My feet are warm, though, so maybe if I pull the blanket over my head I can sleep. With a little hole to breathe out of.

I used to do the #NYTimes games every single day: #crossword, #Wordle (and don't forget #Wördl: Wordle auf #Deutsch!), #Connections, #Strands, #SpellingBee. I used to do the crossword in bed at night while falling asleep. I still do them off & on but I don't remember when I stopped doing them daily.
