Please don't think I'm trying to gotcha you - or something? I'm pointing out that the vets were incorrect to even call it that - I wasn't saying anything about you at all. Vets frequently give clients incorrect information.

The vaccine they are talking about is for a Canine coronavirus (CCoV) - it causes stomach issues, usually intestinal. The respiratory corona virus in dogs that would be most similar to Covid (CRCoV) does not have a vaccine.

I work at an emergency animal hospital and specialty center and we never tested for COVID, even in 2020/2021. It was not really recommended in the industry. That's wild they gave you that diagnosis.

My cat has been hospitalized for five days for a reaction to his new thyroid medication that caused him to stop eating. Euthanasia was not an option since he will get better with treatment. But the treatment is $16,000. Any help would be amazing - $1 or a prayer or just sending good vibes.
