I made brownies and they look like pure dookie in the picture but holy shit they're delicious. They have that crackly top and they're fudgy on the inside and the edges are chewy. So good.

This game really breaks my brain as someone with aphantasia, aka I don't have a "mind's eye" and can't picture things in my brain. So the patterning + fabrics with print is very confusing to me but luckily the game is pretty flexible with letting you slap things together.

I made a new sims family and the mother, a mermaid, is named Misty Waters. I named the children (so far) River Waters and Gulf Waters. I'm so sorry. I had to!

Mom is doing okay in the hospital. I think the oxygen is really helping her. She has pneumonia again but in a different section of her lung this time. One of my neighbors very kindly brought over dinner for me and dad. So nice.

My mom had to go to the hospital again because her breathing is bad. She has pneumonia again. I think her lungs are just so damaged from having covid a few months ago. Meanwhile, my dad almost fell down and scraped his arm, but seems otherwise fine, and I had a brief nervous breakdown earlier.

I had a weird security breech notification on my PC and I'm like 99% sure it was from my neighbor's new truck?? I did everything I know how to figure it out and my PC seems fine. The only weird thing I noticed is that a new available network appeared in my wifi settings, labeled the truck's brand.

Lately my parents haven't been turning lights on in the house and I'm like... What are we doing? I'd like to see where I'm going, thanks. It's not even to save money because they leave the tv on in every room there's a tv! So I'm just wandering around the house via the light of a television.

I think Rolling Stone might not understand that a lot of people just don't listen to the radio anymore. The only way I even knew this song existed was because they play it constantly on my local pop station and I listen to the radio in the car. Otherwise I'd also have no idea.

Ugh, I think the wifi card in my PC has died. I've done everything I can think of and it won't connect to the internet, but then my PC will connect just fine on this little USB wifi adapter that I just plugged in. 🙃

And! They recently updated some of the character models in Star Stable and, uh, they made the blacksmith real hot.

Also the bus makes an appearance! You get to race against it, which is hilarious and silly. You used to have to ride the bus from Fort Pinta to get to Jorvik City (and the mall!) and you'd actually have to stand there and wait in real time for the bus to show up at the bus stop.

The Star Stable 15th birthday celebration is pretty cute. They have a little story quest and you get to see all sorts of characters from the past. And they have these little 3d models of important buildings from the game showing you the old version and the upgraded graphics version.
