I always design my company’s booth at our biggest expo. This year I hid a photo of me and Mari in it since it was meant to look like a living room. My boss sent me a video of how it looks in person and I totally see it hidden. Is this what it feels like to be an imagineer hiding your name in rides?

It’s funny because in the past, the new iOS would leave any of the older devices in the dust. This is their new way of doing that. Sure, you can update to 27, you just don’t get new features.

Into the Fog: a really nice bourbon drink that doesn’t taste like bourbon. Haunted Harvest: weird, not really for us. The pumpkin doesn’t play great with the sake. Mutiny: using the NA aperitif well! The drink starts off orange and sweet, but then the bitter aperol taste kicks in.

Which, if this WAS just a filter in the app, I don’t think people would have a huge issue with it. I also don’t know why it needed to be GenAI when a Snapchat filter would have done fine.

Saw some people say this spits on the graves of Claude Coats and such. But IDK, Magic Shots/Photopass operates on a whole other plane from the Imagineering legends. It’s not a fixture in the park. But it’s still weird and gimmicky. Feels more like the kind of thing you’d see as a filter in the app

Chapek: Given a bad hand, but proved to be a bad leader. Iger: Didn’t want to take the fall for the money he lost, screwed Chapek over. Both of them suck.

I also think Iger knew this is what Chapek would do. Which, again, is why he put Chapek in position. It made the return easier and expected.

Chapek was a crap leader. The choices he made were to the detriment of the brand’s equity. He didn’t care about the quality, just the quantity.

I also think Iger choose him because he was the right fit for that time. Chapek was a proven numbers guy. The company was loosing money and about to loose even more. If anyone could keep the numbers good, Chapek could.

I don’t think my photos are doing it justice here, but are they converting some of the EWP floats to new lighting? The blue and whites on the leftmost float are way different.
