Hot take: we should get rid of the social custom of blessing people when they sneeze. Sure it's a nicety, but it's outdated, the old health superstitions that caused it are irrelevant now, & we don't acknowledge any other bodily function noise that people make.

We pulled into our parking lot a year ago today and saw a tiny black kitten all by herself and knew we had to go say hello. She kept her distance for a while, coming closer as she felt more and more comfortable. I fell in love instantly.

Mom is out of surgery and is in recovery! They removed the mass, ovaries, and omentum. Still waiting to hear from pathology but the doctor seemed optimistic 🤞
