. @graemerocher.bsky.social is the creator of @grails.apache.org and @micronautfw.bsky.social, two major JVM frameworks. 🚀 I was lucky enough to work with him on the core teams of both, and now he's joining us at @madridjug.es next week! If you’re in Madrid don't miss this opportunity and join us 👇🏼

When I used MacOS for 2 months (after +20 years using Linux) I did the opposite. Installed Karabiner and re-mapped a lot of shortcuts to be like Linux.

PSA: Under NO circumstances look at the Sun without proper Solar-grade filters. NOT with the naked eyes, NOT with sunglasses, and especially NOT with any lens optics. NOT EVEN WHEN SUN IS AT TOTAL ECLIPSE! You WILL damage your retina, even if temporarily. Warn others near you.

Next stop: Budapest! 🇭🇺 We've left Vienna after five fantastic days (plus a day trip to Bratislava). One last city before our European summer tour comes to an end. 🚆

I came for the paintings. I stayed to figure out the elevator 🤣 🙈 P.S: Kunsthistorisches Museum (Art Museum) in Vienna

Another train 🚂 another city. Our last four days in Prague have been wonderful. The kids loved exploring the city and Judith especially enjoyed the Mucha Museum (she's a big fan of Art Nouveau)

We just left Dresden (this time without delays or cancelations 😅). The city really surprised us in a very good way. Such a beautiful and nice city.

In any case we are now close to our next stop (for one night only) in our European summer trip. I've really liked Berlin, all the diversity and interesting thing to do and see.

Iván López @ilopmar.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

We've spent four days in Berlin and today we've "enjoyed" the German trains. Our direct train was canceled 1.5 hours before departure and we've been rebooked to later one with one transfer in between 😡

I hate the lack of transparency with salaries. I've wasted so many time in the first HR call with different companies just to discover after 30 minutes that they were no close to my expectations. Just publish the f*cking salary range in the offer! 😡 P.S: 50K-200K is not valid range 🫠

Exactly. You spend X hours commuting to "work remotely from an office", with worse equipment, worse setup and less comfortable. And yet, companies still justify this with BS messages like: but in the office there are synergies and the "magic happens" 🤷
