Had checkin with the students this week. I gave them the option of doing it in person or remote. 8/10 choose online, so I sat in the corner of this wayyy too big classroom most of the day and joined online meetings 😅

I'm walking on clouds right now! Met a mother who visited CoderDojo a lot years ago. Learned that her daughter is now studying an engineering degree🤩 Also, I was told that I've been used as an example by the daughter to argue for why it's okay to fail exams😅 I don't mind having that as my legacy!

Improvisation is great... Until you're nervous and it just feels like you're wasting everyone's time 😢 Held a class today, and I did get some stuff across, but overall I feel pretty shitty about it. I am however motivated to fully prepare for the next class now!

So... I have a presentation at working in less than two hours. I have done it a couple of times before... So, I decided to remake the entire deck 🙃 My excuse is that this time, it's primarily for an online audience compared to in person the previous times. I don't have an excuse for being so late.

I've had a couple of weeks where I have had trouble focusing. And I think... It might be because I don't have a goal, a dream. Sounds great, right? I have figured out how to get back focus! No... Now I'm instead learning about the anxiety of not having a goal at 30 😔 let's gooooo

I'm thinking of making some (optional) visual themes available for software I'm writing. What "holidays" would be nice to include? So far, I've thought of Christmas, Eid al-Fitr, and Pride. I want a nice spread and keep it fairly limited, but I also know I'm very naive in my knowledge 🫣

I did light controlling & designing for theatre shows and concerts during high school and university. Lost that job because I missed a concert.. I was in Ireland visiting an Azure datacenter and had forgotten all about it. (I've gotten a better at avoiding double booking)
