I don't really post on here or anywhere really. I don't have much reach on social media but maybe this might find the right people/person. If anyone knows of any gamedev opportunities like director, art director, lead designer, combat design, etc, hit me up. www.artstation.com/bannonrudis #gamedev

Any tips on workflow for a big set like this? Curious how someone plans such a large stage out from the start.

This one is done! One of my two mega big pixel comms. As y'all know... I am fighting my way through some month long mega burnout triggered when I got sick. Its been really reassuring to see these larger comms finally come together. #pixelart #anime #retro #finalfantaxyXIV #finalfantasy #FF14

A level render of two final fantasy 14 dragon humanoid characters. One male one female. The male is dressed in baggy pants and an open, unbuttoned collard shirt. He has gold jewelry on and gold accents on his cloths. His skin is super pale purple white, his hair black. The girl is wearing loose pants and high sandals with a decorative bikini top. She's also sporting gold jewelry and accents on her cloths. She has pink hair and tan skin. In her hand is an outline of a magic staff with wings on the top.
The backdrop is some mechanical platform made of gold, bass, and gears with a clouded outside setting. You can see the starts peering through the clouded sky.

I need to draw some new #zelda content one day. Anyways, a repost of the #pixelart I did a HOT minute ago.

a depiction of the pathway and entrance to the first dungeon in the hit classic The Legend of Zelda for the Nintendo Entertainment System. On the left a large dead tree with a face and mouth open sits on a deserted island in the middle of a small lake. A stone bridge connects it to the mainland where we see a forest quickly gives way to a dry sandy mountain base.

Bipiq in the spotlight. OC by @tedbob84.bsky.social comm'd by /GunarmDyne #art #anime #pixelart #retro

A warm spotlight centered on a girl holding a microphone and singing. She is wearing a black high leg one piece with white collars, fishnet dark tan tights, black high heals, and wrist cuffs. Her hair is messy, just above shoulder length, and blue gradating to pink.

We're going to do this as a double post since both characters belong to /GunarmDyne. I mentioned earlier, most of my comms are done minus two large pixel pieces that are in WIP. I am hoping to get those two done this weekend! #pixelart #anime #retro #chibi #retroanime

a chibi of a girl with brown hair, a pinkish red headband, sleeveless top, and double layered pleated skirt with the bottom layer in white. She has green eyes and wears brown loafers.

A girl with bust length brown hair wearing a modified English maid outfit to represent a swimsuit like fashion. It has white straps, a low cut bust with white frills on the top, three quarter arm length gloves, a high leg cut also lined with white frills, and thigh high leggings topped with white frills.
The backdrop is an island aesthetic with the ocean and a slightly clouded sky taking up the view. On the right you can see the hilly lush island gradate slowly down to a beach coastline. She is standing up from the coast on what looks like a messy road with palms and grass lining the edge.

A girl with huge long brunette hair featuring a hibiscus flower. She's wearing purple jeweled earrings and has orange eyes. She's ready to throw down with her coconut ball in arm! Her attire is short denim shorts, orange and white sandals, a white button up crop top and scarlet orange bikini top.

Only two large pixels and two low poly's left to do, then the comm backlog will be finally cleared. The burnout this season has been hitting particularly hard, but I think I am over that bump finally.

Natsu in Tokimeki Wha?! @natsu-kashii-vt.bsky.social as a Tokimeki Memorial character! This run was more or less a mix between the TG-16 and early PlayStation versions. #pixelart #anime #retro #tokimekimemorial #DrawNatsu #VTuberEN #RetroVTuber

A girl with huge long brunette hair featuring a hibiscus flower. She's wearing purple jeweled earrings and has orange eyes. She is also wearing a long sleeve all blue sailors uniform accented by a yellow bow in the center. Her pose is neutral with a subtle wave, as if saying hi to the viewer from afar.

yee im almost at 8k and Im constantly bothered by these people trying to get me to back their "Text to 3D Model" or "Text to Art" stuff. They explicitly avoid saying AI too cause they know its a turnoff. Good luck though, good sponsors will come, just be patient!

020

IllusionOfMana @illusionofmana.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Yeah YT is not any different. Once you start getting close to 10k subs, the first sponsors you see in your emails are a bunch of AI peddlers and cheap merch companies that want rights to sell your likeness even after you stop working with them.

I think for acting, no not very many at all... But for writing and editing, there are always a need for that. Similar to cinema. People can fixate on the face/acting point but dont realize theres a massive technical side behind it. College is great to join a company, not do indie work imo.

IllusionOfMana @illusionofmana.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

I think goal is you network with a group you plan on interning and working for. Basically not an individual CC but working for a larger one that hires a staff. The course most likely teaches full pipeline from how to act to edit and advert. Then connects you with a CC company like Linus for example.
