I think I'm gonna try drawing a bunch of fighting game poses from different angles like this for practice for a while so you guys are free to send suggestions with fighting game pose screenshots

really good exercise is to look up reference poses but instead of copying them try to draw them from another angle

it feels forbidden that you can just erase the inside of a drawing leaving the silhouette and then redraw the inside from behind (as long as it's not too foreshortened/the viewpoint isn't too close)

ok I've kinda been crazy glued to drawing ocs because I went through withdrawal after spending 2 weeks dealing with traumatic incident and my medication might be making me hypomanic but it's probably only hypohypomanic and it's awesome but I gotta work on comms again

I want to draw more action poses like I think I'm surprisingly good at doing them without references I just have to remember to use my imagination and actually think of something before I start

it'd be kinda funny to see if people could tell which of my drawings had a reference and which didn't

to draw fast good you have to start by drawing fast badly it's like doing a sprint and you get further each time within the same amount of time

it's rly annoying to get something 99% perfectly drawn in 5 minutes but then for an hour get really fixated on trying to fix one part of the anatomy that looks a Little Off that nobody will notice
