My takeaway from episode 2 of Flanagan Carrie is that I don't like Margaret in this version. She feels more annoying than scary, and it's really down to the fact that she's not really allowed to be intense or deranged at any point, she's just an annoying pro-lifer who blocks the road home and shouts

I should also really reread Carrie at some point. I've been thinking about it for over a year, but I just really don't like going through that story; it reminds me a lot of my darker moments, and I don't need that. Lately, I've been feeling better, so I'm thinking of finally doing it.

Starting on the new Carrie show. I've seen 1976 and read the book, so that'll be my main frame of reference (though as a fan of Angela Bettis, I'll probably check out hers at some point). My thoughts are, does Chris really need a reason to be shitty? I lowkey like it better when she's just evil
