I found the episode fascinating. Thanks for doing it. I’m stuck on the economic and logistical problems of quick transitions — it’s hard to pivot infrastructure to new tech. So for the time being I’m still bullish on SAF, particularly electrofuels. But H2 is the key common denominator.

Yep. Some of my favorite moments in the franchise are the various depictions of 23rd/24th century SF. I love that in Into Darkness the city planners are finally allowing density. And I’m looking forward to the Starfleet Academy show mostly to see the city in the 30th century.

Yeah I agree. My sense is that Gov is really concerned about the coming public health crisis. And I have a bad feeling that we’re a matter of a few weeks/months from a new pandemic, with very little infrastructure to deploy OTOH, it’s a good reason to build up the infrastructure
