UPDATE: due to a series of seemingly unrelated errors, Assistant Editor Goofy has been accidentally slingshotted past Earth. He was able to miraculously avoid the sun (though caught on fire), and is believed to be somewhere in the Asteroid Belt, based on radio telescopes picking up a distant yodel.

Alex Pointon frames the grand history of Daisy Duck within the larger feminist movements: her transformation from nagging girlfriend to fashionista does not always occur evenly, and contrasts with Minnie, who presents more a traditional gender identity (ie, as a housewife and supporter of Mickey).
