"We need to celebrate what makes us whole, and embrace it." Little late at sharing my #arttober2026 Day 6 artpiece, but here it is. I was at a huge stadium concert that is out of town so I had no time to unfortunately finish yesterday my drawing of Kitty Pryde and her dragon-like companion.

"Never let the Black Cat cross your path!" Day 3 of #arttober2026 confession: I have a weakness for green eyes and find them to be absolutely gorgeous. When it came to drawing Black Cat as a hijabi, I wanted to draw inspiration from a few different pieces of media she's been in.

“You want my blessings, dearest, here they are!” Day 2 of #arttrober2026 a character from my all-time favourite rogue-like game. I absolutely love the art, music, and story. Despite Aphrodite being naked I still managed to draw her as a hijabi.

“I will show no mercy!” Happy October 1st! For this month I have decided to part take in @artgerm #arttober2026 with a twist! All characters would be drawn as a hijabi. For each art piece they will simply be coloured lightly shaded sketches. I hope I can do all these gals justice. #Yorforger

Felt the need to share my RE4 remake Ada Wong cosplay because today is a significant day in Resident Evil lore. I saw a really cute artpiece of a character dressed as a hijabi Ada Wong, which made me fangirl a little and say "omg that is me!" Representation as a hijabi matters to me and means a lot.

When it comes to my cosplay I like to make the colour of the headscarf the colour of the character's hair and sometimes shape my headscarf to look like the character's hair. Here was my first attempt at doing this back when I cosplayed as Frozen 2 Elsa. #Frozencosplay #Elsacosplay #Elsa #Frozen

"I don't reload; I just change the conversation." Laylah's guns are based on the Sig Sauer P220. They were created by her close friend Beatrice, who creates weapons infused with supernatural power, allowing for unlimited ammo. #Hijabioc #Hijabiart #DevilMayCry

Rouge the Bat was my most requested character to cosplay as overall. I hope with my hijabi interpretation I was able to do her justice. My favorite part of this cosplay are the shoes which was my first ever attempt at painting shoes.

When it comes to video game characters Nyx from Hades hands down is my favourite motherly character. For this cosplay I made almost everything enterily from scratch and sewn a dress for the first time. Credit of photos goes to Sergio Mazzotta when I was at CK Expo #Hijabicosplay #Hadescosplay

After being a Sonic fan for at least 20 years of my life so far I have finally made a proper Sonic OC with the help of a bestie. Her name is Eleanor the Raven and her chao companion is named Velvet who is a flying neutral chao. { #Sonic #Sonicart #Sonicoc #Hijabiart #HijabiOC }

Eleanor is an outgoing and adventurous gal who helps to protect people in the shadows (litterly). She can manipulate shadows turning them into energy and weapons. She can also teleport through shadows making her able to hide from and ambush enemies. She is also a fast flyer and can fly due to being a raven. I hope you like my take on a hijabi Sonic OC. I look forward to creating a bit of art of her 🥰

"Don’t think too hard, handsome." ~ Ada Wong To share a cosplay from another Capcom franchise here is my Ada from RE4R. Thought I'd share as Code Veronica remake got announced today! #Adawong #Residentevil #RE4R #Residentevilcosplay #Capcom #Capcomcosplay #Hijabi #Hijabicosplayer

Weapons made using a Nerf gun (for the TMP), dollar store gun (for the handgun), and training knife. The guns have been painted with the help of a dear friend who taught me a bit as well. Resident Evil is my favourite survival horror franchise, hands down. I very much enjoyed Resident Evil 4 Remake, hence a reason why I decided to cosplay as Ada Wong from RE4 Remake as a hijabi. Huge thank you to my wonderful friend and amazing photographer @27thfloorphotography over on Insta.

"Never give up your dream! Don't be afraid to fail!" ~ Felicia from Darkstalkers Firstly I want to say thank you so much for the love and support on my Morrigan Aensland cosplay. For my Darkstalker fans, here is my take on Nun Felicia. #Darkstalkers #Darkstalkerscosplay #Capcom #Capcomcosplay

When I was a little girl, Felicia was probably the most exposed fighting character I saw for the first time. Despite this, she was a secondary main for me in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and the Dark Stalker games. Aside from being a lover of cats, I adore her personality and find the concept of her to be fascinating. Despite her being almost naked, she is respectful of the nun's garb. She is also really cute, can kick butt, and has a cheerful personality which I love.

As we reach the end of May here are the mermaids I drew for Mermay this year. Which Mermaid is your favorite? ~ Bonnie the selkie with her pet seal Beanie ~ Anyiah the rosetail betta ~ Yumi the sockeye salmon ~ Rosemarie the angler fish ~ Meilian the butterfly koi fish #Mermay #Hijabiart #Procreate

Last but not least for Mermay we have Meilian who is based on a butterfly koi fish. She has Vitiligo which is a skin condition that patches of skin lose their colour. It is a fascinating skin condition that needs more representation in media. { #Mermay #Mermayart #Hijabioc #Hijabiart }

For Mermay this year I drew five hijabi mermaids in Procreate. Which Mermaid is your favorite? The 5th mermaid will be shared in the next post. { #Mermay #Mermayart #Hijabioc #Hijabiart }

My first 2026 Mermay art piece is finally here halfway through the month. This is Bonnie and her pet seal Beanie. Her design is inspired by that of Selkies. They are a type of mermaid that can shape shift into a seal and have seal skin they can put on and remove. I love seals so much as they are really cute, smart, and fascinating creatures.

Here we have a rosetail betta fish named Aniyah. She loves fashion and especially jewelry. She both makes and sells her jewelry all made from real minerals and exploration.

A mermaid for the sushi lovers, meet Yumi the sockeye salmon mermaid. She works at a sushi restaurant called "Above the Surface" where both humans and mermaids work together serving the freshest fish and sushi. The mermaid workers catch the fish, meanwhile the human workers would cook and there are both human and mermaid maids ready to serve you the freshest and finest of sushi. I absolutely love sushi, and Japanese food overall, which is what inspired me to create this mermaid character.

For a long while I have been meaning to draw not just a hijabi goth mermaid, but an angler fish inspired mermaid and she is finally done! Meet Rosemarie, she may look scary, but she is an absolute sweetheart. She enjoys exploring the deep sea and discovering sunken treasures and ships. Rosemarie longs for friends who do not fear her for her appearance.
