Felt the need to share my RE4 remake Ada Wong cosplay because today is a significant day in Resident Evil lore. I saw a really cute artpiece of a character dressed as a hijabi Ada Wong, which made me fangirl a little and say "omg that is me!" Representation as a hijabi matters to me and means a lot.

Eleanor is an outgoing and adventurous gal who helps to protect people in the shadows (litterly). She can manipulate shadows turning them into energy and weapons. She can also teleport through shadows making her able to hide from and ambush enemies. She is also a fast flyer and can fly due to being a raven. I hope you like my take on a hijabi Sonic OC. I look forward to creating a bit of art of her 🥰

Weapons made using a Nerf gun (for the TMP), dollar store gun (for the handgun), and training knife. The guns have been painted with the help of a dear friend who taught me a bit as well. Resident Evil is my favourite survival horror franchise, hands down. I very much enjoyed Resident Evil 4 Remake, hence a reason why I decided to cosplay as Ada Wong from RE4 Remake as a hijabi. When I was a little girl, Felicia was probably the most exposed fighting character I saw for the first time. Despite this, she was a secondary main for me in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and the Dark Stalker games. Aside from being a lover of cats, I adore her personality and find the concept of her to be fascinating. Despite her being almost naked, she is respectful of the nun's garb. She is also really cute, can kick butt, and has a cheerful personality which I love.

My first 2026 Mermay art piece is finally here halfway through the month. This is Bonnie and her pet seal Beanie. Her design is inspired by that of Selkies. They are a type of mermaid that can shape shift into a seal and have seal skin they can put on and remove. I love seals so much as they are really cute, smart, and fascinating creatures.

Here we have a rosetail betta fish named Aniyah. She loves fashion and especially jewelry. She both makes and sells her jewelry all made from real minerals and exploration.

A mermaid for the sushi lovers, meet Yumi the sockeye salmon mermaid. She works at a sushi restaurant called "Above the Surface" where both humans and mermaids work together serving the freshest fish and sushi. The mermaid workers catch the fish, meanwhile the human workers would cook and there are both human and mermaid maids ready to serve you the freshest and finest of sushi. I absolutely love sushi, and Japanese food overall, which is what inspired me to create this mermaid character.

For a long while I have been meaning to draw not just a hijabi goth mermaid, but an angler fish inspired mermaid and she is finally done! Meet Rosemarie, she may look scary, but she is an absolute sweetheart. She enjoys exploring the deep sea and discovering sunken treasures and ships. Rosemarie longs for friends who do not fear her for her appearance.

I have been using Insta for well over a decade now and holy hell is growing as an artist extremely difficult there. I'll still be using Insta, but I'm gonna try to explore other options like Bluesky that will help me grow as an artist and cosplayer.
