Alberta: Permanent DST would put sunrise in Fort McMurray past 8am for 4⅔ months, past 9am for 3 months, as late as 10:03am! It’s a mandate to wake an hour early all winter. Tell your MLAs to prevent this by amending Bill 31 to permanent MST!

Saskatchewan picked the incorrect time zone to stay in. Alberta is joining them in UTC-6 permanently. It’s very strange to stay in permanent daylight time. Very dark mornings in winter. So what does Saskatchewan want to do now? It should be in UTC-7 based on Geography and the position of the sun.

There is DST and ST but we need to understand time zones, geography and where the sun is. Canada is very big. Saskatchewan should be at UTC-7 but chose UTC-6. Now Alberta is also choosing UTC-6 permanently. BC chose UTC-7 year round, should be UTC-8. Jet lag will be permanent. #realTimezone #Cndpoli
