Oh and 2 words. Ilona. Maher. Her ability to generate attention onto herself and the game is something world rugby needs to understand and take on board in all areas. She's an icon and a symbol for the game as a whole. This is my small person with her at the opening game. We need more of this.

What an amazing day we had at #RedRoses Vs #TeamUSA the #RWC2025 in Sunderland. It was just a fantastic festival of sport and an amazing advert for Rugby. This Rugby mad 12yr old not only got to see her heroes play, but also got to meet them too. What. A. Day!

Today is Holocaust Memorial Day. 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz. It is poignant, as our Matriarch, our Babcia, is still with us at 104 and so are the tattoos on her arms that she was given there. It is reminder that humanity is capable of the most truly evil acts. We must never forget.

I have never seen such stupidity in 25+yrs in the airline game. @stnairport.bsky.social in domestic arrivals, there is no baggage carousel. Just 2 blokes, 2 trollies and a lift that keeps breaking to bring up hundreds of bags. This is the result. A potential crush situation. This is not good enough
