the other cool part about bluesky being built essentially in public beta is that it gives a constant topic for conversation, the actual product otherwise logging on here to post to the comparatively tiny circle of people I know would feel kinda redundant

No video, no gifs yet. But like 2 weeks ago there weren't even mobile apps, they've been shipping features pretty fast so I'm sure it'll come relatively soon

one part of bluesky that I haven't seen talked about much: checkmark are unnecessary DNS handles serve the same purpose and levels the playing field without making it a status game

Hard to distribute the training process, probably a lot easier to distribute query computing for the finished model but that would leave model creation and training still under centralized control
