Next week we take a deeper look into the MMCU (Michael Mann Cinematic Universe) with the award-winning co-writer of HEAT 2 - Meg Gardiner. Michael Mann isn't just a cinematic genius, he's a regular genius as well.

Who determines a brain is broken? What does a perfect one look like? That one in a jar? Who was that guy? Was he famous? If everyone has CTE, nobody has a problem. All good then.

Further down the line. What’s it say about society? Years and years of the population agreeing and being guided by a man with a medically broken brain? Or, is this evolution? The American brain, full of CTE, blind, passionate, rudderless. Rogan - the lighthouse. Action ready. Confident.

Sometimes you used to hate someone, and you still do. Like Joe Rogan. Does this mean one day he will be my great love? Who knows. But if trends prevail… yes, I’ll one day be married to Joe Rogan. Further down the line… he kills me. a crime of passion they say. Until brain scan. Rogan. CTE. Riddled.

The power of love inverted. Much like a pendulum can swing mightily in the direction of hate. Maybe that’s why so many crimes of passion. Not an excuse. We all must learn how to control our emotions. Marty could burn down my house with an ai robot. I’d still love him. That’s what Jesus would do.

Notable how quick I am to mock the ones I love the most. Maybe Jeff Ross was right. About roasting those we love. Just that. Not about how old girls you date should be. Jeff Ross is and was wrong about that
