They do find evidence that it is male academics that are systematically more hostile to women (they seem to especially do it in job market talks, although those are longer seminars, etc) 418272

Isabella Cuervo @icuervo.bsky.social · 17/12/2024Have been told that I appear prohibitively intimidating in this clip. Prove the haters wrong by applying to be my friend and colleague! 191

Juan Masullo and I had a lot of fun convening this QMMR symposium on causal figures. Lots of disagreement on best practices, but also great advice www.qmmrpublication.com/_files/ugd/7... 2229

Isabella Cuervo @icuervo.bsky.social · 07/12/2024I'm so grateful for those who invested in my self-confidence and became the reason that I get to study with @larahankeln.bsky.social, @jacobedenhofer.bsky.social, and other amazing researchers (and friends)! 181
Isabella Cuervo @icuervo.bsky.social · 07/12/2024Applying to Oxford in 2022, it took a lot of convincing from people I trusted for me to see myself as someone with a chance at getting in - or of thriving in the kind of place I expected Oxford to be. For women, historically underrepresented in elite programs like ours, this is a common experience. 143
