Still in plague isolation so spending the day watching old films (currently The Fugitive) and playing around with my new acrylic markers (tiktok effectively pushed Ohuhu at me)..

A sketch of a corvid in a pole. Medium: Acrylic markers

A sketch of a woman looking to the right - it's more of a doodle. She has curly hair and an orange dress.
Medium: acrylic markers

A sulky looking face - an exercise is colour mark making.

Chris Bryant really should talk less.. How he was made secretary of state for Northern Ireland is beyond me.

Empire Records (1995) has about six interwoven versions of (1), a single version of (2) (Rex Manning, although arguably Rex’s assistant too) and pivots to (3) in the last part of the film. This is why it is one of the all-time greats.

A thing I realised this week is that at least one of the guys behind Zig and Zag has adult children now.

In exciting news for me my Kickstarter reward for The City of the Black Rose (paging @3blackhalflings.bsky.social, @jeremycobb1.bsky.social, and @rollandplaypress.bsky.social) arrived today..

A box designed to look like a battered piece of luggage.

The box opened showing the rule book and a large envelope marked top secret..

So for #inktober I'm putting no pressure on myself beyond doing some sort of doodle every day and keeping up with my new ACEO obsession.. I love my little art cards here's today's one.

Felt like soup weather so made myself some delish potato soup. Ateing & drinking in it.

I think I may have doodled my finest doodle today.. May need to hang up my art supplies.. It's titled 'My Limes!'

An ACEO titled My Limes!
In Alcohol Marker and Pencil
A bottle of Corona with a slice of lime in it next to a plastic pint glass full of lime slices.

Inspired by the My Limes tweet.
In this picture the bottle of Corona has not been poured into the pint glass of limes.

Gave away my old Bass Guitar and amp to the Musical Youth Foundation today and got these epic Air Guitar strings as a thank you.

Two packs of air guitar strings. The packet may look empty, but they are not.

I have thoughts and feelings about what I wear to gigs and I know it's weird but this sums it up for me.

Google finally updated some of its satellite images of Gaza and my god, it's horrific. The entirety of Rafah has been demolished. The majority of Khan Younis is in ruins. Entire towns completely leveled and erased of the map.

Wouldn't matter if it was just 1 Orangeman looking to parade down the Garvaghy Road. The community have made their wishes perfectly clear, and what the Orange order wants to do is hold their hand up really close to the community's face and say "I'm not touching you" only a million times worse.

If your job is Secretary of State for Northern Ireland you should probably at least skim the Wikipedia entries for the place.

What has emerged at a later part of the FAI press conference: Knowing the circumstances of the upcoming games, the FAI did a trawl of prospective callups and checked with abut 30 of the most likely players to ensure they were comfortable fulfilling those fixtures. Goalkeepers were not among them.
