The youngest person his pager attack killed was 9-year-old Fatima Abdullah, who had just started 4th grade. The pager was on a table when it went off and she picked it up to take to her dad. It exploded in her face and reports said it covered the room in her blood. She wanted to learn English.

But I see this as a massive privilege - I do not need social internet like many small business owner friends, and there are many marginalized communities that rely on internet spaces for organizing (which is why I still hold on to some access).

I just can't see a future where the internet is anywhere near as enjoyable as a place to interact with real people, even in local online spaces, because there are so many bots and agitators that present false faces behind the shield of relative anonymity.

This is why I regularly drive my car into a wall, I have auto insurance that desperately needs to be used. The wall is my house so this helps me use my home insurance too.

Please just find something else to call them - they're not bicycles, they're essentially electric motorcycles that don't require pedaling to move. E-Bikes are already regulated and have speed limiters. E-Bikes are much safer because their top speed is lower!

My wife and I got as much vaccine as we could and never had more than a headache. I got COVID one time in 2025, she still has not had a case of COVID despite working in health care the entire time with COVID patients. She masks, it's just that easy.
